The Carson Raymond Foundation is dedicated to honoring the life of Steven “Carson” Raymond, who in his nine years delighted in the simple pleasures of playing sports with his school friends and teammates. To that end, the Carson Raymond Foundation seeks to provide elementary aged children, regardless of sex, race, religion, or economic ability, with opportunities to participate in neighborhood sports programs. With the cooperation of individuals and community partners, the Carson Raymond Foundation will build fields, provide equipment, instruction and transportation to allow school children to “GO PLAY” in their own neighborhood.
Carson had a diverse group of friends. He was kind to everyone he met. His favorite sport was baseball, which he started playing when he was four. This foundation strives to help all children develop the love of baseball that Carson had, and to encourage kids to “Go Play”.
