Last Friday, August 16th, members of the Fairview Swim Team held a swimathon to benefit the Carson Raymond Foundation.  The swimmers raised over $1000 and had a lot of fun (?!?!?) swimming lap after lap in memory of Carson.  There were awesome prizes and contests in and out of the pool.  Special thanks to Freestyle and Rivanna Gear & Apparel for their generous prizes and to everyone who baked for the swimmers.

Also, here is an email sent from one of the kindergarten teachers:  I want to let you know just how much my class enjoyed the T-ball clinic yesterday.  As we were walking onto the field, John had a conversation with a little boy named Angel.
Angel had a smile on his face the whole time.  When it was over and we were walking back to the classroom, Angel looked at me and said, "That was the coolest thing ever!"  I haven't seen him get that excited about anything in a long time.
Thank you to you and your family for giving the kids such a wonderful opportunity!
