Over 50 3rd-5th graders from Agnor-Hurt and Woodbrook participated in the camp. T-shirts and hats were provided for eveyone and gloves were given to the 20-some students who did not have their own. The entire program far exceeded my expectations. The players and coaches at UVa were awesome with the kids. I cannot wait to do it again next year.

We are now officially a non-profit organization. If you have made a donation to the foundation you can now claim it on next years income tax.

Rock for the Cure and the Carson Raymond Foudation are teaming up!

October 9th at Fairview Swim and Tennis Club 12PM - 9PM

There will local musicians performing thoughout the day ~ stay tuned for a list of the artists.

Other activities will include a cornhole tournament, kids olympics, catering from local restaraunts and fun for the whole family. All monies raised will stay in the community to fund breast cancer research and to help kids Go Play!

Swimathon to benefit the Carson Raymond Foundation

Last Friday, August 16th, members of the Fairview Swim Team held a swimathon to benefit the Carson Raymond Foundation. The swimmers raised over $1000 and had a lot of fun (?!?!?) swimming lap after lap in memory of Carson. There were awesome prizes and contests in and out of the pool. Special thanks to Freestyle and Rivanna Gear & Apparel for their generous prizes and to everyone who baked for the swimmers.
